FAQs:
How do I book a
show with Encore Fireworks:
It is as simple as making a phone call or
sending an e-mail. We will have someone contact you to discuss your
ideas, budget and review your proposed firing site. We will help you
choose a show that best fits your needs at a price that you can afford.
What about
insurance:
All Encore Firework's products and shooters
are covered with a $1,000,000 global insurance policy. If more insurance
is required it is available at slightly more cost.
What about
permits:
Professional fireworks displays are legal
in all 50 states. All that is needed is a permit from the local
authorities (typically the local Fire Marshal). Typically it is as
simple as the sponsor making a single phone call and telling the authorities
that they are purchasing a professional display company to perform the
display. The authority collects a small fee and issues the
permit.
You, the sponsor are responsible for
obtaining the permit and the permit fee is separate from the show cost.
If needed, Encore Fireworks can assist you in obtaining the permit.
All Encore products are 1.4G, UN0431, What does that mean? Why is it advantageous? There are three types of fireworks. Class B or 1.3G UN0335, which are the most restrictive to transport and store, Class C or 1.4G UN0336, which are less restrictive to transport and store but are limited to consumer fireworks only, finally Articles Pyrotechnic 1.4G UN0431. ProgressFX are designated Articles Pyrotechnic 1.4G UN0431 and are designed for safety, ease of shipment, and ease of storage. Our products can be shipped via common carrier. If you are transporting yourself, you still must comply with DOT haz mat requirements but there are many advantages of 1.4G over 1.3G. For example, 1.4G requires $1,000,000 insurance vs. $5,000,0000 required for 1.3G. There are also many advantages to storage as UN0431 is exempt from all ATF regulation. This means that you do not need a federal license, an approved magazine, etc. You will want to check with your local "authority having jurisdiction" to determine exactly what the storage requirements in your area are. Finally, 1.4G UN0431 products are designed with safety in mind. Safety for your shooters and safety for your audience. Use of ProgressFX products along with following the recommended NFPA distance guidelines in NFPA 1123 and 1126 will help ensure a safe display.
